Writing. Why?

While my upbringing was very challenging, it did bring me a great deal of experience and a love for the rich, cultural world of my socio-economic class. Despite all the obstacles, there was still plenty of inspiration. I want to portray these lives on stage and screen, showing all the hope, ambition and kindness I saw in those I grew up with.
